Big firm expertise.
Small firm cost.

At Bastion Legal, we cap our fees for certain TAC and WorkCover matters and for certain stages of your claim. This means our fees will not exceed a fixed amount, regardless of how much work is required or how much compensation you receive.

FAQ

  • A capped fee means our costs for certain TAC and WorkCover matters will never exceed a set amount, no matter how much work is required or how much compensation you receive. This ensures certainty and better value for clients.

  • An uplift fee is an extra charge (often 25%) added by many firms when a case succeeds. It’s legal but reduces your compensation. We don’t charge uplift fees because we believe your settlement should stay with you.

  • We pay these costs in-house upfront. Many firms use loan agreements with interest and fees, but we don’t believe that’s in your best interest.

  • Your matter will be managed directly by an experienced solicitor, not passed around a large team. This ensures continuity, accountability, and personal attention.

  • Yes. You can meet in our office, arrange a phone or video call, or we can visit you at home or in hospital.
