Dean Charalambous is the Founder and Principal Lawyer at Bastion Legal, a Melbourne-based law firm specialising in insurance law and civil litigation. With over 17 years of experience across legal, regulatory, and insurance sectors, Dean offers a rare combination of legal precision and industry insight.
Before establishing Bastion Legal, Dean held senior roles as a lawyer, chartered loss adjuster, authorised compliance officer for the Building & Plumbing Commission (formerly the VBA, factual investigator for WorkSafe and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), and workplace consultant. This diverse background enables him to provide clients with strategic advice grounded in real-world experience.
Dean is highly regarded for his clear communication, practical legal advice, and focus on early risk identification. His approach is outcome-driven, commercially focused, and designed to give clients confidence through every stage of the legal process.
