Bastion Legal represented an Aboriginal family affected by one of Victoria's most tragic residential fire incidents in recent years.
The matter arose from a house fire in Lara in December 2022, which claimed the life of an 11-year-old child and attracted significant media attention across Victoria.

The family endured an extraordinarily difficult period following the loss of their loved one and was required to navigate a range of legal and administrative processes arising from the tragedy.
