Bastion Legal is honoured to be featured in Melbourne Heritage Interiors, released in October 2025. The book celebrates some of Melbourne’s most historic and architecturally significant interiors, showcasing the city’s rich architectural heritage and design legacy.
Our offices are proudly located in Mitchell House, within Melbourne’s legal precinct. The heritage-listed building was constructed in 1937 for the Mitchell Brush Company and designed by renowned architect Harry Norris, who is also known for the Nicholas Building and Majorca Building.
Mitchell House is a striking example of Streamline Moderne architecture that embodies the optimism and innovation of its era. We are proud to practise from a space that reflects Melbourne’s architectural and cultural history and to be part of its continuing story.
